Okay
so it wasn’t the Mill. But the Mill is part of the Rideau Heritage system so it
was the Mill. Sort of. Anyway,

News Update – Mill Sale
Goes Firm
On
1 August, 2007 the sale of Jackson’s
Mill will close and therefore this is the Final Edition of the Mill News (under
the present management). Hopefully the ex-Miller will lose all desire to
publish this sort of drivel and without an excuse he might just dry up. Then
again, probably not.
In
any event this is it, finito, sayonara, kiene mehr dreck and farewell to the
Mill News. Congratulations BTW to Calgary Cam and the Lovely Lucy, purchasers
of Jacksons’
Mill (including the Jackson's
Mill website).
Cam and Lucy, as I am
sure you know, as of I August you have bought yourself one of the most amazing
properties you or anyone has ever seen. She’s part of a World Heritage site! So
congratulations, we here at Jackson’s Mill are very happy to see the Grand Old
Lady (as Hillary has called her) pass to someone who has the desire and
capacity to keep her sailing along the edge of Collins Creek for the
foreseeable future, and to help keep her as she should be kept. You guys can
obviously see what she’s all about and I for one am very happy to see her pass
to such worthy successors as Millers. All content including graphic and written
